**Responsibilities**
- Assist in legal matters that arise from time to time in relation to our Malaysia subsidiary, including with the assistance of external counsel as may be appropriate
- Assist in the preparation of company policies and training materials for the Malaysia subsidiary
- Update management on various compliance matters from time to time in relation to the Malaysia subsidiary, under the guidance of the Director of the Legal Department
- Engage in enterprise risk management activities, in addition to legal and compliance related risk management, in relation to the Malaysia subsidiary
- Carry out corporate secretarial work, in relation to the Malaysia subsidiary, by liasing with external counsel on such matters
- Staying up to date with relevant regulatory changes for Malaysia
- Assist with any other tasks that the Legal Department may need to undertake

**Requirements**:

- Degree in Law from a recognised university is preferred
- Admission to the Malaysia Bar is a requirement
- At least 3 years of post-qualification experience working for law firm/in-house legal department
- Good understanding of corporate law and contract law, while at the same time able to provide commercially-sound advice
- Strong communication and good interpersonal skills
- A meticulous, organized and resourceful team player
- A highly motivated individual who works independently with little supervision

- Monday to Friday

**Education**:

- Bachelor's or equivalent (required)

**Experience**:

- Malaysia Legal: 3 years (required)

License/Certification:

- Admission to the Malaysia Bar (required)
