Energy Solutions Manager, Infrastructure

- Plan, develop and implement comprehensive IT infrastructure strategies tailored to the business needs and prospects.
- Identify the market and technology trends that could be game-changers for IT infrastructure.
- Responsible for continuously improving overall energy efficiency from both the data center facility perspective and also server / workload perspective.
- Work out solution proposal for measuring and improving PUE of the data centers from colocation service providers and self own data centers; provide solutions proposal to improve the utilization of server systems; formulate overall programme for the company to embark on the net-zero / sustainable goal.
- Constantly monitor, analyze and improve the cost-effectiveness of the organization’s data center and IT Infrastructure, and make sure it aligns with the organization's business strategy.
- Drive the adoption of industrial standards and best practices; ensure the company’s infrastructure service is governed by relevant compliance and guidelines; develop frameworks, SOPs and templates/checklists within the Infra team to optimize the organization’s IT operations process.
- Strategize, develop, and maintain good relationships with various vendors and partners; build and maintain the vendor escalation channels to ensure project delivery and operational efficiency.
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering / Electrical Engineering / Information Technology or related fields.
- Minimum 5+ years of working experience as an Energy Efficiency Manager / Solution Architect in the Service Provider or OTT companies.
- Proven experience of planning and implementing the energy efficiency solution for large scale and low-PUE data centers in the SEA region.
- Excellent skills in developing and communicating strategic plans with stakeholders from various teams (both technical and business teams), backed with comprehensive knowledge of market dynamics and technology trends in the data center and IT Infrastructure space.
- Good business acumen, with fair understanding of IT Infrastructure budgets and forecasts from the commercial perspective.
- Strong team player, able to adapt well to a fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivated with a positive and mature working attitude.
- Proficiency in both English and Mandarin due to regional coverage.
