**Duties**: - Collaborates with division directors across the program to assure both quantitative and qualitative data are utilized in programmatic and budgetary decision making. - Collaborates with division directors across the program to assure all operational areas have necessary quantitative and qualitative date to assess programmatic functioning and implement necessary programmatic improvements - Acts as a consultant and advisor to the Director on policies, procedures, and critical issues that have a major impact on the programs. - Maintains liaison with program, division, and other interested HHS components, as well as advisory groups, through representing the Director on committees and work groups, or arranging for or fulfilling requests for information and comments. - Performs the administrative and management functions relative to the supervised staff. - Supervises a group of supervisory and nonsupervisory employees performing work at various levels and provides administrative and technical supervision necessary for accomplishing the work of the unit. **Requirements**: **Conditions of Employment**: - U.S. Citizenship required - One year probationary period may be required - If you are selected for this position, the documentation that you present for purposes of completing the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Form I-9 will be verified through the DHS "E-Verify" System. - All Federal employees are required to have Federal salary payments made by direct deposit to a financial institution of their choice. - Financial disclosure statement may be required. - Bargaining Unit Position: No - Drug Screening Required: No - Research position: No **Qualifications**: **Applicants must demonstrate that they meet the Minimum Qualification requirements as noted below.** **Minimum Qualifications**: **GS-15**: You must possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the **GS-14** level in the Federal service (obtained in either the public or private sectors) performing performing ALL of the following duties: - Executing annual, multi-year, or similar plans ensuring compliance with departmental priorities; - Coordinating and/or executing all levels of business operations such as strategic, operational, and/or crisis/contingency; - Managing staff and/or projects to ensure internal office procedures and/or operational goals are met; - Participating in the development and/or documentation of short - and/or long-range planning efforts. **Documenting Experience**: IN DESCRIBING YOUR EXPERIENCE, PLEASE BE CLEAR AND SPECIFIC.
