JobTech is a product start-up looking to solve real-world labour problems and deliver the best possible experience to our end users. We are looking for passionate and self-driven hands-on data scientists.
- Work together in a team with fellow data scientists and analysts to create, maintain and improve JobTech’s data analytics capabilities.
- Keep up-to-date with the state-of-the-art research work on natural language processing, knowledge graph and representation, multilingual transfer learning, recommendation engines and information extraction.
- Continuously experiment and prototype new algorithms as well as improve on existing algorithms based on product feature needs and product vision.
- Conceptualise, evaluate and build data solutions to improve data integrity and any other analytics capabilities
- Shape modelling prototypes into production-ready models and infrastructure to integrate into JobTech’s product
- Collaborate with CTO and data engineers to monitor, optimise and maintain data architectures, pipelines and databases

**Requirements**:

- Masters or PhD degree in computer science, engineering, operations research, statistics, mathematics, or equivalent fields
- Solid theoretical foundation in natural language processing, knowledge graph and representation, multilingual transfer learning, recommendation engines and information extraction
- At least 2 years of relevant working experience.
- Advance proficiency in Python and relational databases. Working proficiency in Java.
- Hands-on experience with building machine learning pipelines and productionising models
- Experience with database sharding will be advantageous.
