Senior Grains Trader

Daily contact with the Managing Director and other senior leaders of the Company will be a quintessential part of success in developing the businesses and will also contribute to the growth of Senior Trader.
Operationally, the Senior Trader will also engage in execution aspects of the trade book, ensuring end-to-end completion of matters related to the business.
**Responsibilities**:
- Focusing on trading Grains and Veg oil within and into Asia. Monitoring of logistics, execution, and credit risk, as well as other related aspects of the business.
- Develop and strengthen commercial relationships with suppliers, customers, freight providers, and other operational relationships.
- Proactively expand trade flow engagement: products, locations, service providers, and counterparties. Support company growth in the region by building pipeline profitability, merchandising opportunities, freight, local distribution opportunities and customer solutions earnings.
- Develop robust supply and demand analysis to aid in trading and position decisions across the region.
- Monitor and reconcile the P&L and risk position for the business unit and keep to internal risk management policies.
**Required Experience**
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field or equivalent industry experience.
- Min. 3-5 Years in agribusiness and demonstrated experience initiating and establishing local networks of vendors and customers in Asia. Experience in the African market is a big advantage.
- Successful trade and execution of agricultural commodities shipped in containers.
- Strong experience in commodity risk management, freighting, customer execution risk management and supply chain management.
- Strong analytical mind, decisiveness, logical reasoning, and clear communication.
- Travelling might be required.
