**Job Overview**:
As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for the management, maintenance, and security of our databases. You will ensure the integrity, availability, and performance of our database systems, enabling our team to leverage data effectively for our AI development projects.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Design, implement, and maintain database systems for efficient data storage and retrieval.
- Monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal performance.
- Manage database security, including user access, roles, and permissions.
- Develop and implement backup and recovery strategies to protect data integrity.
- Collaborate with developers to optimize queries and improve data access patterns.
- Conduct regular database maintenance, including updates, patches, and performance tuning.
- Document database architecture, procedures, and policies for compliance and reference.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in database management and security.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Database Administrator or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with database query optimization.
- Familiarity with database security best practices and backup/recovery processes.
- Experience with data modeling and database design principles.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
