We are seeking passionate and driven engineers to join our team as we harness data and technology to modernise DSTA’s business processes and operations.As a Senior Engineer, you will be part of a dynamic team that implements and manages our enterprise Data Analytics Platform, playing a critical role in building and enhancing the data infrastructure that supports DSTA’s mission.**Key Responsibilities**
- Enhance data architecture to optimise system performance and scalability.
- Design, build, and manage data pipelines; implement Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes and workflows using the Data Analytics Platform.
- Analyse data quality issues and implement tools, frameworks, and best practices to improve data quality across enterprise systems.
- Perform day-to-day support including system administration, monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning of the data platform, tools, and pipelines.
- Drive implementation of platform enhancements and ensure compliance with IT system policies.
- Stay up to date with emerging trends and tools in data engineering to continuously improve the platform and infrastructure.

**JOB REQUIREMENTS**:

- Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- In-depth specialisation and broad experience in data engineering, with the ability to solve multi-disciplinary data integration challenges of medium complexity.
- Familiarity with data integration tools and platform administration.
- Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Self-driven, performance-oriented, and possesses good writing skills.
- Knowledge of government IT security policies and processes would be an added advantage.

**EXPERIENCE**:

- 5 ~ 8 years
