JR17938 ENGINEER/ SENIOR ENGINEER - FAC CHEM & GAS

The Facilities Engineering Chemical and Gas Engineer provides engineering for planning, design, and operations & maintenance support of the following systems site wide:
1. Ultrapure Chemical and Slurry Delivery Systems

2. Specialty and Cryogenic Gas Delivery Systems

In this role, you will be joining an existing team of engineers responsible for chemical and gas supply and distribution facilities. You will be accountable for the Spec Gas systems projects, maintenance and operations under the report of a manager. You will be working with vendors to manage gas systems that supply and distribute multiple gases to manufacturing.

**Responsibilities**:

- Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance programs for Facilities chemical, slurry and gas systems including chemical waste collection systems to ensure maximum equipment uptime and reliability
- Manage on-site Total Gas and Chemical vendors (TGCM) for day-to-day operation, maintenance, quality and safety
- Respond and perform system troubleshooting with on-site TGCM
- Plan, design and manage chemical/slurry/gas engineering projects include new construction, system upgrading and quality improvement
- Perform capacity tracking and planning for chemical, slurry and gas systems
- Evaluate and implement new materials for chemical, slurry and gas systems to support advance wafer process change
- Review and improve Operation and Maintenance Standard Operating Procedure and Risk Assessment.
- Support on GHG release reporting and reduction of GHG emission.
- Carry out HAZOP, FMEAs (Failure Model and Effect Analysis), identifying, contain or eliminate any hazards and single points of failure on existing and new systems
- Ensure all works are in accordance with company safety guidelines.
- Support in internal, customer and compliance/governance audits in relation to chemical and gas team.
- Benchmark with other Micron sites on operational, procedural, engineering, and design for Best Known Method on Facilities buildings and systems.
- Site representative to support on global corporate assignments

**Requirements**:

- Experience with gas and chemical distribution systems in semiconductor preferred
- Bachelors’ degree in chemical engineering or related discipline or equivalent experience is preferred.
- Good team and self motivated worker.
- Fluent computer skills including word processing, spreadsheet, database
- Ability to multiple tasks concurrently, prioritize and schedule workload
- Good organizational skills & service attitude
- Excellent communication skills
