We are seeking an experienced cyber underwriter with Cyber portfolio underwriting and/or Cyber primary insurance experience and a passion for developing cyber business and innovative cyber solutions and ensuring underwriting excellence and drive the growth targets of our market leading Cyber portfolio.

**Your job**
- Preparing and conducting lead negotiations with cedants and brokers in coordination with Client Management for respective Cyber programs with demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and work cross-functionally with a diverse group or stakeholders
- A market expert / thought leader in this emerging class of business and a demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and work cross-functionally with a diverse group or stakeholders
- Assuring the quality of technical Cyber single risk, including premium calculation and stipulation of reinsurance conditions in accordance with underwriting guidelines, internal rules, authorities, targets, and client strategies
- Support on market strategy and driving the execution of this within your allocated region, with accountability for portfolio and single risks.
- Support cedants with underwriting training, single risk referrals and product development based on market needs.
- Prepare, present and deliver solutions customised to the needs and requirements of clients and prospects
- Close monitoring of market and portfolio performance.
- Advance our product and service offering to existing & new clients and supporting the development and sales of a holistic service offering for Commercial Lines/ Personal Lines cyber business that ensures business development and stickiness for Munich Re.
- Supporting insurance companies in product design, sales, risk assessment, pricing, accumulation control and the development of relevant services for insureds in collaboration with experts within the APA Cyber / Munich Re Group
- Drive market growth initiatives by actively making use of the expertise globally

**Your profile**
- University degree, preferably in Economics, Mathematics, Statistics or Law degree, or with a recognized governing bodies of insurance qualification
- Deep experience in P&C portfolio underwriting (essential) and/or Cyber underwriting (Portfolio and/or Single Risk) with minimum 5 - 10 years experience at underwriter level in (re)insurance, demonstrating good understanding of the Cyber risk exposure and appropriate methodology to assess the exposure
- Experience in Cyber underwriting in Asia is essential
- Demonstrated experience in client work (at least 3-5 years) and have a client centric approach.
- Detailed understanding of insurance and reinsurance business
- Strong analytical skill set
