**WHAT is this role about?**:
Short-form videos are an emerging and ubiquitous format for today’s and tomorrow’s generations.

As a TikTok Video Producer, you will work with a team of fellow content creators, using the medium of video to entertain, engage, and inform our audiences.

This is a full-time position.

**A snippet of what you can expect to be doing on a day-to-day basis**:

- Keeping informed of and making sense of news content 24/7
- Quickly spotting trending stories/topics and packaging them for our TikTok audiences
- Actively thinking of creative original content video ideas that appeal to and serve our audiences
- Conceptualising and executing editorial and sponsored videos in a timely manner

**WHO should consider?**:
We are looking for someone who can expertly script, produce, and edit news videos for TikTok.

If you:

- Possess strong news sense and follow current affairs/daily happenings closely
- Understand good storytelling and social media trends (particularly on TikTok)
- Are familiar with the standard video production workflow
- Are able to work under pressure to meet deadlines
- Are resourceful when it comes to finding news sources
- Are able to work both independently and as a team
- Are adaptable to change and willing to learn

**Technical requirements**:

- Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, and Canva
- Excellent news sense and has a good grasp of trending issues/topics
- Firm understanding of existing and emerging social media platforms, including but not limited to TikTok
- Crucially, you must possess the mental stamina, tenacity, and agility to work in an intensely dynamic, fast-paced, and competitive media environment.
