**Key Responsibilities**
- Build, maintain and improve wafer-level test setups to perform high-throughput, highly repeatable, optical and RF measurements which will enable photonics devices characterizations and measurements.
- Develop new and maintain existing automated test equipment infrastructure codebases.
- Review, discuss and innovate software architecture for projects that lead to proper system integration.
- Debug problems as they arise and perform root cause failure analysis and identify underlying trends and patterns in test data using statistical analysis tools (JMP).
- Prepare and maintain documentation such as release notes for new builds, instrument driver features, and best practices for test method development.

- Degree or higher in Computer Science / Optical / Electrical engineering or related disciplines.
- Strong python coding experience and previous experience as a test automation Engineer.
- Experience with Optical and Electrical setups, Instrument control, and automation.
- Good to have a good theoretical understanding of the photonic integrated circuits under test, as well as the test equipment used to characterize them.
- Experience with data analysis and statistical analysis.
