Manage Structured Cabling Projects from beginning to completion, ensuring that projects are completed within time and budgetary constraints. An understanding of the structured cabling industry and ability to work under deadlines in a fast-paced environment. **Responsibilities** - Taking a lead role in planning, coordinating, and facilitating structured cabling projects through completion - Manage multiple projects and project team - Responsible for maintaining active project plans - Create and track progress on work schedules - Maintain project budgets and profitability - Perform design review and update plans and "as-built" drawings accordingly - Assists the with resource management and forecasting resource requirements - Collect data and document test results - Develop design/construction documents, project budgets, customer proposals, coordination with system vendors, monitor and inspect work performed - Create and present management reports on project status and outcomes - Mitigates risk on behalf of the company **Skill/Knowledge Requirements** - 8+ years' experience in the telecommunication cabling industry - Proven experience in structured cabling systems for Voice, Data, Video, Outside Plant, BMS, and Audio-Visual Systems. - Expert in managing project team as a working project manager - Skilled at teaching project team's best practices for all types of cabling projects - Have an expert understanding of ISO/EIA/TIA standards - Understand and certified in a broad array of industry product lines. - Expert ability in reading and understanding telecommunications drawings and plans - MS Office and MS Project proficient - Have good communications and people skills in dealing with client, vendors, and co-workers - Must have the ability to work some weekends and overtime as projects demand - Knowledge of applicable codes and BICSI standards - RCDD Certification is not required, but preferred. - Salary Dependent on Experience **Why Direct Line**?
