Role Overview
As a Transportation Specialist you will contribute to BGRS' success by in coordinating and managing household goods move services for transferring employee's relocations. This would include oversight of the household good moves, review of estimates to client policy, handling inquiries from suppliers and internal teams at BGRS.

**In response to the COVID-19 pandemic all interviews are being conducted virtually.

If selected for an in-office position, you will work remotely while BGRS operates under mandatory telework.

What You'll Be Doing
- Oversee performance of International Household Goods Service (IHHG) Suppliers on a day to day basis.
- Initiate IHHG services to suppliers.
- Ensure data integrity in our system with data input from our suppliers.
- Manage serious service issues and resolutions with suppliers, reporting resolutions to operations team/management.
- Exercises both judgment and authority to mediate serious services issues and authorize expenditures on behalf of the company, when customer service cannot broker a solution. Obtain required approvals from operations for any financial impact
- Support all internal departments including operations and finance.
- Knowledge of household goods transportation services both domestic and international.
- Manage and administer client policies with suppliers.
- Provide authorizations or requests exceptions to client policies during the relocation process.
- Ensure each shipment is adequately declared and insured with our respective insurance suppliers.
- Oversee each insurance claim with our respective insurance suppliers to ensure timely claim settlement.

What You Bring to BGRS
- BA/BS Degree - Preferred
- 3+ Years experience in the relocation, moving, or storage industry - required
- Demonstrates good organization skills and detail orientation
- Maintain effective working relationships with internal and external contacts
- Ability to work and multi-task in a fast paced environment
- Excellent interpersonal & communication skills required
- Strong computer skills including data entry and MS Office
