Job summary

The Purchasing Specialist is responsible for negotiating, and purchasing materials, components, equipment, and services to ensure uninterrupted operations. This role requires close collaboration with suppliers and internal stakeholders to manage lead times, cost, and quality while maintaining accurate records and adhering to company procurement policies.

Main Responsibilities
- Manage the full procurement cycle from requisition to purchase order issuance and delivery tracking.
- Evaluate supplier performance and develop vendor relationships to support quality, cost, and delivery objectives.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and contracts with suppliers to ensure the best total value.
- Analyze material requirements based on production schedules, forecasts, and inventory levels.
- Monitor purchase orders and follow up to ensure timely delivery and resolve any discrepancies.
- Collaborate with planning, production, logistics, and finance teams to align supply with demand.
- Maintain accurate purchasing records, supplier master data, and documentation in SAP systems.
- Participate in cost reduction initiatives and process improvement projects.Ensure compliance with company policies, ethical sourcing standards, and relevant regulations.

**Qualifications**:

- A diploma in business administration, supply chain management or any related field.
- Min 1 year experience as purchaser
- Familiarity with SAP systemProficient in MS Office, with expertise in Excel

**Skills**:

- Strong negotiation skills and communication skills.
- Good problem-solving skills and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to verify and reconcile discrepancies in procurement documents.
