The primary purpose of the Solution Consultant (SC) is to provide technical advice, Solutioning, support and strategy to our customers and the Sales Team to deliver continued growth within the business.
Solution Consultant works on a peer level with BDM's and Solution Consultant's to formulate an Account Plan for nominated prospective customers. It is vital that the SC acts as the Technical Authority for these accounts, by delivering technical information to the customer in the form of RFI/RFP responses, design related documentation, product updates and industry/competitive analysis.
This requires a pro-active approach to meet with customers on regular and frequent occasions to develop a deep technical relationship at all levels. The role is to evangelize the NTT portfolio of Solutions from a technical perspective helping to transform businesses, solving business issues with technology. The SC will be part of the regional team, reporting into the Regional Lead. The SC will ensure NTT capability to deliver the solution.**Working at NTT**
Lead all Pre-sales and services activities for assigned opportunities from Solutioning and Pricing as required in the region, Promote CDF (Consulting-led) selling where appropriate that upsells our products and services.
- Single Point of Contact for all Pre-sales & Solution Consulting of the specific account.
- Support qualification of deals along with teams, ensure strategic view is adopted in decision process.
- Manage all aspects of proposal preparation, ensuring quality, compelling bids are submitted in a timely manner. Responsible to review customer requirements and ensure compliant in the proposal by ensuring accuracy & quality.
- Ensure that all technical solutions fit within the customers’ requirements and budget.
- Knowledge sharing of latest industry trends in Collaboration and Unified Communications solutions with the sales team, customers, prospects, and partners.
- Support in developing and delivery of financial information, such as Return on Investment (ROI), non-standard products, internal/external professional services.
- Uphold strategic pricing initiatives by translating goals into effective pricing plans that can be successfully implemented in the marketplace to drive additional revenue.
- Develop and manage various proposal related projects to increase the company’s effectiveness at winning new business and retaining current clients.
- Work within the bid process to ensure technical sign-off and peer validation procedures are followed with the post-sale (project management in particular)
- Support lesson learned session from each Bid experience with the goal of improving the efficiency of future deals.
- Provide Solution review and recommendations to Executive Management for large bids and RFPs to ensure NTT value proposition maximized.
- Provide effective communication to management and other business units as appropriate and necessary for assigned deals.
- Work across time zones as required and may Travel, as necessary.
- Development of services offerings along with Collaboration solutions

Qualification:
- BA/BS or equivalent required, MBA desirable
- Have wide-ranging experience
- Uses professional concepts and company objectives to solve complex issues in creative ways
- Networks with others outside own area of expertise
- Exercises judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria to obtain results
- May coordinate others’ activities
- Typically requires significant related experience with a Bachelor’s or equivalent degree
