Singapore Wonderlit Education Centre Pte Ltd Full time

Wonderlit is seeking dynamic and creative teacher to coach children and teenagers ages 7 to 16 in speaking skills based on our curricula. The individual will also support the development of communication skills (oral) curriculum in line with MOE curriculum and Trinity College London programme.

**Roles & Responsibilities**
- Research, source, plan and develop high quality curriculum with creative content in line with set teaching pedagogies and requirements.
- Plan and prepare lessons in line with the requirements to provide high-quality learning experiences, meeting set objectives.
- Deliver the Wonderlit Speak (Public Speaking & Communication Skills) curriculum, with prescribed teaching materials and aids in ways that excite curiosity and facilitate active learning.
- Prepare class for bi-annual parent showcases, Trinity Communication Skills examinations (Initial to Grade 8), and MOE oral examinations where appropriate.
- Monitor and provide progress reports and feedback to parents via mobile app periodically.
- Participate when required, in preparation of set-up work for presentations, rehearsals, performances etc.
- Attend in-centre training sessions to stay on top of Wonderlit’s pedagogy and teaching practices.
- Perform any ad-hoc duties or responsibilities assigned (for full time teachers only).
- Maintain a high standard of work ethic, punctuality, good discipline and order.
- Be an ambassador for Wonderlit at all times with children, parents and other external stakeholders.

**Required Qualifications & Experience**
- A recognized qualification in English Language, English Literature, Law, Theatre, Speech & Drama or Communications Skills, with qualification from Trinity College London or London Academy of Music & Dramatic Art (LAMDA) preferred.
- At least 2 year of experience teaching speech (public speaking) and drama. Training will be provided before teaching any classes in Wonderlit.
- Strong command of English, both spoken and written.
- Good class management skills with children of all ages and background.
- Energetic, creative, enthusiastic, patient and enjoys teaching children in a fun and exciting manner.
- Able to commit to teaching at least 4 classes (1.5 hours each) per week including weekend (for part-timer teachers only).

**Job Types**: Permanent, Full-time

**Salary**: $3,500.00 - $5,000.00 per month
