We are seeking a Senior Industry Analyst for SouthEast Asia to join our team in Singapore. You would be part of an expanding team responsible for conducting analysis on a periodic and topical basis, and authoring equity research on companies within multiple sectors in the Southeast Asia region. You are an experienced analyst who excels in fundamental company research and has the ability to produce insightful thematic reports that highlight key market trends and opportunities across the region.
We'll trust you to:

- Monitor and interpret major company developments and identify macro themes and trends affecting the industries
- Manage earnings cycle, including previews and reviews
- Work closely with BI analysts and strategists located in Hong Kong, Singapore, Tokyo, London and New York to coordinate and collaborate on analysis
- Build and maintain relationships with investors, industry and market professionals, investor relations personnel, and senior management at target companies.
- Work with Data teams to ensure data completeness and quality control for existing and new data sets of target companies
- Deliver high quality and timely content while also growing our data offering

You'll need to have:

- At least 5 years of equity research experience in Asia preferably with a focus on Southeast Asia
- Experience interpreting financial statements and performing quantitative financial analysis
- Experience using Microsoft excel including but not limited to financial modeling
- Knowledge of advanced concepts, practices, and procedures of finance and accounting
- Exceptional primary research and writing skills
- Proficiency in both spoken and written English
- Demonstrated continuous career growth within an organization
- The ability to be a self-starter, independent thinker and collaborative teammate
- Strong organization skills and capable of handling multiple projects
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

We'd love to see:

- CFA designation
- Sell-side or buy-side Research Analyst experience
