**JOB OVERVIEW**

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Manufacturing Engineer designs, integrates and improves manufacturing systems and process for Additive Manufacturing (AM) in the Operations Department. The individual will also work with the Sales and Design teams to refine product designs and troubleshoot issue relating to design, materials or manufacturing processes.

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Develop program and generate required toolpaths for AM process
- Design and continuously improve process parameters for metal AM processes
- Lead in product and process qualifications initiatives for development of future metal additive machines / systems
- Support external and third-party collaboration projects for new product or process development works
- Responsible for documentation of data and submit project results in a timely manner
- Provide leadership and support to operations team to ensure timely delivery of parts
- Support 3D printing post-processing requirements
- Carry out maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment and process issues
- Consistently produce quality work and recommend areas where quality can be improved
- Perform training for professional development of technical personnel

**QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS**

**Education and Experience**
- Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering with 2 years related experience; or
- Diploma in Mechanical / Mechatronics / Materials Engineering with minimum 5 years related experience within a manufacturing environment
- Hands on experience in MIG/CMT welding and ABB robots

**Skills & Knowledge**
- Knowledge in post processing of 3D printed parts
- Knowledge on DED additive manufacturing is an added advantage
- Ability in managing production workflows, supplies and materials
- Flexible, versatile, able to adapt to rapidly changing priorities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and dynamic workflow
- Good judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisions
