**What the role is**
- Marine Manager / Senior Marine Manager, (Operations Planning & Pilotage)
Reporting to the Operations & Marine Services Division, you will be part of the Operations Planning & Pilotage department whose role is to safeguard strategic port needs through effective management of port infrastructure and other marine-related projects in the Port of Singapore. You will also ensure that Singapore obligations as a Maritime Search and Rescue Centre and ReCAAP Focal Point are carried out effectively and efficiently.
The key duties include:

- To safeguard strategic port needs through effective management of port infrastructure and other marine-related projects in the Port of Singapore;
- To ensure the marine projects are planned efficiently and conducted safely without any disruption to port operations and marine traffic movements;
- To carry out the Terms of Reference for the function of Committee for Marine Project

Projects (COMET);
- To manage and co-ordinate Marine Projects, approved by COMET,
- To provide coordinated, expeditious maritime SAR response and assistance within the Singapore Maritime Search and Rescue Region;
- To provide coordinated, expeditious maritime Medical evacuation within the Singapore Maritime Search and Rescue Region; and
- To carry out Focal Point function for Regional Cooperation Agreement on Combating Piracy and Armed Robbery against Ships in Asia (ReCAAP)
- Experienced current/ former seafarers who possess a Certificate of Competency (Deck) Class 1
- Meticulous, organised and is committed to delivering high quality work
- Able to prioritise tasks well and work around tight timelines in a fast-paced environment
- Good interpersonal and communication skills and is able to work well with stakeholders across all levels
