Decent Capital is an investment management firm founded by Jason Zeng, one of core co-founders of Tencent Holdings Ltd. It is headquartered in Shenzhen, with multi-offices including Hong Kong, Beijing, Shanghai, Singapore, and Palo Alto. Decent Capital invests in various global assets across both first and secondary markets.

The Asset Management Division of Decent Capital is engaged in managing public equities and alternative assets, mainly in global VCPE funds/Hedge funds and Real Estate funds. We have professionals from diverse backgrounds and experiences, with the belief in fundamental investing.

Now we are looking for a **new hedge fund analyst based in Singapore**.

The analyst's primary goal is to help Decent Capital own the best performing hedge funds to ensure strong performance in the fund portfolio. To accomplish this goal, the analyst is required to demonstrate analytical capacity in determining asset quality as well as a certain ability to source high potential pipelines.

**PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Conduct routine updates for existing portfolio funds by return contribution analysis, risk shifting check and periodical strategy review
- Conduct due diligence on pipeline funds by historical performance analysis, peer comparison, PM/team interviews and reference checks.
- Liaison with fund intro partners to source potential outperforming funds (reputable & emerging)
- Collaborate with colleagues globally

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Fluent in English and working level of Chinese (Mandarin) is required
- BA/BS degree from top universities and minimum 2 years of relevant experience in Finance industry, fund investment exposure a plus
- Highly motivated, confident self-starter and calculated risk-taker with the ability to work independently and with others
- Demonstrated ability to conduct thematic research across a broad spectrum of topics which can be additive to the investment process
