**Responsibilities**
- Development of high-quality database solutions.
- Develop, implement, and optimize stored procedures and functions using T-SQL
- Research required data.
- Analyze existing SQL queries for performance improvements.
- Suggest new queries.
- Monitor code migration and database change management through various stages of the development cycle.
- Deploy database code change and provide on-call support for all database issues responding to critical events and situations outside normal work hours.
- Develop procedures and scripts for data migration.
- Participate in MS SQL code reviews and provide guidance on best practices.
- Develop, implement, and maintain policies and procedures, and document database architecture to ensure the security and integrity of the databases.
- Review new database schema changes.
- Responsible for backup, recovery, and upgrading MS SQL databases & Monitor databases to optimize database performance and diagnose issues
- Monitor and manage database indexes and partitioning for optimal performance & Perform schema management, database sizing, and maintain privileges
- Analyze daily logs usage and query tuning. & Monitor database growth for every month in data warehouse databases and implement table partitioning for better performance.

SQL Developer Requirements and qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience as a SQL Developer or similar role
- Excellent understanding of T-SQL programming
- Excellent understanding of Microsoft SQL Server
- Knowledge of git Source Control. and Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines or deployment automation tools.
- Ability to setup and manage all backup, recovery, and upgrades of all the MS SQL Server databases.
- Ability to develop, implement, and maintain policies and procedures to implement the security and integrity of the databases.
- Ability to explain in a concise and simple language data flow processes.
- Ability to implement data models, database designs, data access, table maintenance, and associated DDL.
- Ability to work with development and operations teams to tune production queries for optimal performance.
- Ability to implement and monitor replication for high availability and disaster recovery scenarios.
