**Responsibilities**:
**Sanctions Investigation and Name Screening**

To perform due diligence on (1) 2nd level transactions sanctions screening; and (2) 1st or 2nd level sanctions name screening escalated from APAC branches in accordance to the steps, timeframes, and prioritization set out in procedures in a complete, accurate and timely manner.

**Advisory**

To provide sanctions advice to stakeholders in the Asia Pacific region (including providing a decision on escalated sanctions-related cases at regional level), provide sanctions-related trainings to relevant stakeholders to instil strong sanctions compliance knowledge and represent the APAC region (ex-Japan) in the bank’s global initiatives on sanctions-related matters, including risk assessment and implementation of policies and procedures.

**Job Requirements**
- Minimum 2 years of experience in sanctions area
- Experience in providing sanctions advisory on payments / trade finance transactions / CDD/ KYC reviews / product reviews / risk assessment / training / policies/ procedures
- Meticulous and possesses a good sense of awareness with regards to sanction regulations/ policies required for the investigation scope of work
- A team player and an organised individual who able to multi-task to meet and deliver within Service Level Agreements/ stipulated timelines
- Possess prior exposure related to Financial Crime or in related field of sanctions screening
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills to work with stakeholders across the Asia Pacific region as well as globally
- Adaptability to contribute to multiple tasks with different scopes at the same time, stakeholder management, presentation skills for the purpose of reporting, status, and progress
- Knowledge in UN and US sanctions regulations. Able to interpret and understand sanctions regulations of countries in Asia Pacific region
