**JOB DESCRIPTION**

You’ll work in a highly motivated team focused on analyzing, designing, developing, and delivering solutions built to stop adversaries and strengthen our operations.

Our Data Loss Prevention (DLP) team performs many functions in support of data security at the firm. The team develops solutions for detecting and blocking sensitive information from leaving the firm, assesses and reports on capabilities, and coordinates improvements with our technology and business staff to protect the firm’s data. In addition, the team triage prioritization criteria, analyzes trends and patterns in DLP activity and works with stakeholders to reduce the risk of data loss across all lines of business.

**Job responsibilities**
- You’ll work in a highly motivated team focused on analyzing, designing, developing, and delivering solutions built to stop adversaries and strengthen our operations.
- You’ll give guidance, advice on best practices and support our business and technology groups.
- By taking the lead on incident response, risk reviews, vulnerability assessments and identifying threats, you’ll help us deliver cost-effective solutions that put our clients first.
- You’ll deploy best practices, new policies and emerging trends to strengthen our strategic roadmap.
- You’ll present your findings to senior leaders with sharp communication and presentation skills.

**Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills**
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification
- 5 or more years of cybersecurity operations related experience
- Excellent command of cybersecurity organization practices, Data Loss Prevention, security incident triage, Insider Threat, operations risk management processes, principles, architectural requirements, engineering threats and vulnerabilities, including incident response methodologies
- Experience triaging DLP or security incidents, performing initial investigations and developing cases
- Ability to do the detailed work of a DLP triage analyst to learn the process end-to-end while also working largely in a leadership capacity
- Experience working in Symantec DLP, Splunk ES and reviewing technical logs
- Experience developing and implementing new DLP or Insider Threat use cases and process automation

**Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills**
- Understanding of national and international laws, regulations, policies and ethics related to financial industry cybersecurity
- Experience with Agile and the ability to work with at least one of the common frameworks
- Ability to identify network attacks and systemic security issues as they relate to threats and vulnerabilities, with a focus on recommendations for enhancements or remediation
- Foundational knowledge of: computer forensics; legal, government and jurisprudence as they relate to cybersecurity; operating systems; and methods for intelligence gathering and sharing
