Part Time Kitchen Assistant

Orchard, Singapore ASIA GOURMET (ROAST) PTE. LTD. Full time

**Responsibilities**:

- Follow orders as instructed by Chef de Partie and Sous Chefs to perform job task following directions
- Follow work list assigned by Chef de Partie, completed within acceptable time frame
- Ensure all food products are stored properly in their appropriate fridges and storage containers throughout shift
- Weigh, measure, mix and prep ingredients according to recipes.
- Steam, grill, boil, bake or fry meats, fish, vegetables, and other ingredients.
- Check stock and practise FIFO.
- Arrange and garnish dishes.
- Work well under pressure and within the time limit.
- Ensure that kitchen area, equipment and utensils are cleaned.

**Requirements**:

- Willing to learn and have a good attitude
- Prior experience in related food and beverage service and food preparation positions.
- A Food Hygiene Certificate preferred. Thorough experience with hot food preparation.
- Good working knowledge of accepted sanitation standards and health codes.
- Ability to use slicers, mixers, grinders, food processors, etc.
- Able to handle work in a fast-paced environment.
- Immediate availability

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $900.00 - $2,500.00 per month

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Work Location: In person
