**Job Description for**Plastic Mould Designer**

**Primary Objective**:
1 Design of Plastic mould with preparation for DFM, Mould schedule, etc.

2 Liaise with Mould factory in progress of mould development in Bilingual English-Mandarin.

3 Act as Window & Program management to both Internal & External stakeholders.

**Skills & Qualification**

1. Must be able to interpret drawing according to ASME 14.5 GD&T

2. Identify critical to function dimensions & plating parameters on parts for design consideration

3. Familiar with surface & heat treatment specification & requirements.

4. Knowledge to verify measurement using basic measurement tools like Calliper, Micro-meter, Profile projector. CMM will be a plus.

6. Familiar with ISO 9000 Quality System requirements.

7. Communication skills bilingual English-Chinese to convey information in reports, meetings and status reports

8. Knowledge of the product understanding with customers

9. Attention to detail

10. Analysis, critical-thinking and problem-solving skills to review systems, find flaws and pose solutions to those flaws

11. Interpersonal skills

12. Ability to handle stress

13. Ability to operate under deadlines while still meeting standards

14. Liaise with stakeholders to handle requests and queries

**Requirements**:

- Plastic mould design with at least 5 years’ experience.
- Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
- Working knowledge of office equipment, like printers and fax machines
- Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel)
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
