They specialize in microRNA technologies and the development, manufacturing, and provision of diagnostic test kits and clinical services. **Job Summary**:
The Medical Technologist I is responsible to perform laboratory testing and maintenance of daily operations in the laboratory so as to achieve smooth running of a quality laboratory service at all times.

**Roles and Responsibilities**:

- Bio-Banking Operations
- Handle sample submission, registration, and transfers
- Process blood samples into various components
- Operate liquid handling equipment to facilitate processing.
- Maintain accurate record and documentation of procedures.
- Extract nucleic acid (RNA/DNA) from bio-specimens.
- Perform efficient and accurate data entry into database
- Ensure cleanliness of laboratory environment
- Proper and regular maintenance of laboratory equipment
- Ensure that the SOPs and safety regulations are followed

**Administrative**
- Provide logistic support for the operation of the biobank
- Ensure timely dissemination of information, escalation of issues and recommending solutions to problems.
- Participate in routine laboratory administrative work such as filing and processing of delivery orders and stock management
- Performing other duties as assigned by the Head and Reporting Officer

**Desired Skills and Competencies**:

- Diploma/Degree in Biomedical Science, Biological Science, Biotechnology, or related disciplines
- Minimum 1-year clinical laboratory experience preferred
- Laboratory skills and knowledge
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Able to work independently and preform under pressure
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrate good teamwork
