Core responsibilities
- Shape the consumer insight operational set up for Asia Pacific
- Ensure publishing and adoption of key dashboards which inform action to improve brand performance
- Champion the Polaris / Demand Space analytics to inform portfolio and innovation strategy
- Oversee all key vendor relationships including forming new one’s - Kantar, Nielsen, IPSOS etc.
- Kick Off, Oversee, Co Run, Monitor consumer studies relevant for Asia Pacific strategy
- Be the voice of the consumer in all strategic, annual and commercial planning meetings
- Inform and articulate the consumer agenda of the region and all markets
- Create and develop a community of consumer insight talent including responsibility for their development & career enhancement
- Publish key trend reports plus competitive intelligence analysis periodically to inform action

Key Stakeholders
- Reporting to marketing excellence director and matrix into global head of insights
- Day to Day with Marketing Directors, Consumer Insight Managers, Global consumer team, Region and Global portfolio and innovation teams
- Other stakeholders: Regional Leadership Team, Global commercial leadership team, Top Line Team

Career Path
- Global consumer insights role or other regional consumer insight role or large OPCO insights role
- Move into commercial roles like Marketing Director of a mid size OPCO
- Portfolio or Innovation strategy role in region or global
- Expand scope to include consumer data

Experience
- 10 to 15 years of hands on consumer insight experience in a consumer first brand building organization
- Extensive experience of collaborating with multiple stakeholders and vendors
- Very strong delivery track record in a matrix organization via influence
