**Job Summary**:
In this role you will lead facility related projects while providing support & guidance to the local project team in
Utilities & Piping engineering elements to achieve the organization goals for Quality, Overall Efficiency, Cost
Reduction, Safety and Well-being

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:
**As a project lead**:

- Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders (local & global) and ensuring technical feasibility
- Collaborate and manage external consultants and contractors to ensure project tasks and deliverables are achieved
- Coordinate internal resources(local & global) for the flawless execution of projects
- Ensure all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
- Ensure resource (local & global) availability and allocation
- Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
- Regular report of project status to relevant internal stakeholders(local & global) and escalate to management as needed
- Manage relationship, communication & alignment with all relevant internal stakeholders(local & global)
- Perform risk management using West recommended toolsto minimize project risks & risk to existing operation - from safety, quality & product delivery perspective
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation using West recommended tools where available
- Perform other related duties as assigned

**- As Mechanical/ Utilities & Piping Engineer**:

- Support local Project Team to ensure all Mechanical/ Utilities & Piping engineering element are meeting local regulatory requirements and align with West relevant EGD’s to achieve corporate goals for Quality, Overall Efficiency, Cost Reduction, Safety and Well-being.
- Drive standardization within the local Project Team in-line with Good Engineering Practice with focus and ownership on Mechanical/ Utilities & Piping system
- Support local energy management function objectives
- Work closely and proactively with Operations, Process Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering and HSE teams to develop Utilities & Piping related engineering solutions
- Take an active part in the evaluation and selection of external partners such as engineering consultants and building contractors including design reviews, commissioning reviews, operation reviews, and perform constructability analysis during the design phase in close alignment with external engineering partners and plant engineering teams
- Develop and execute engineering document including URS, FS, DQ, FAT, IQ, OQ, and PQ where applicable
- Ensure facilities are operating as efficiently as possible to minimize their impact on the environment.

**Education and Experience**:

- Bachelor’s degree/Masters or equivalent in Mechanical/Utilities/Piping Engineering
- Min 8 years’ experience in design/construction/operation/ maintenance of Mechanical/ Utilities & Piping’s preferably in Pharma & Petrochemical industry. Inclusive experience in PW/WFI/ Sanitary piping’s
- Proficient with all piping system requirements in Pharma & Petrochemical industry - flow, velocity, pressure, stress analysis, etc.
- Detailed engineering knowledge of Mechanical/ Utilities & Piping systems with ability to assert technical solutions and standards
- Strong engineering and trouble shooting skills related to Utilities & Piping’s
- Energy conservation knowledge
- Proficient in MS Project, 2D & 3D AutoCAD Software
