About the job:
The Red Hat Solutions Architecture team is looking for a Director to join us in Singapore. In this role, you will lead and manage the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Solutions Architecture team as they transition their approach, tools, and skills to guide relevant conversations and outcomes with customers. You will also provide guidance for the next generation of architecture in the cloud arena. You are expected to provide thought leadership, create new engagement models, and promote productivity through a matrixed organization. You will have to maintain close partnership with ASEAN Sales team to support their plans and priorities. As such, you’ll need to have an excellent understanding of markets, business models, and cultural differences in the ASEAN region.

What you will do:

- Provide thought leadership for the presales team
- Hire and mentor technology sales associates and leaders in ASEAN to deliver with mastery in open innovation and culture
- Develop the team with a global mindset by evolving onboarding, enablement, and capability-building programs
- Champion end customer-focused collaboration with other internal teams
- Build solutions capabilities in our presales phases, working jointly with sales stakeholders
- Accelerate specializations and efficiencies in the presales team

What you will bring:

- 12+ years of relevant working experience in the tech software industry
- Successful record of leading high performing regional presales teams, with a key focus on people development
- Extensive experience and knowledge with business development and go-to-market strategy
- Ability to deal with ambiguity and change management experience in a matrixed organization
- Highly collaborative work style with proven ability to gather consensus and get support for timely decision and action
