Game Publishing Manager

The primary role is to shortlist, acquire profitable new publishing/co-publishing deals beneficial to the growth of the company.
**Responsibilities**:
- Report directly to the Chief of Publishing for acquisition of deals that have been internally approved.
- Conduct deep research and analysis to shortlist new co-publishing/rights for review with the relevant stakeholders in the company.
- Drive business transactions from deal conception and negotiations to contract closure, positively and significantly impacting the business bottom line and/or competitive position.
- Represent the company to foster and maintain strong professional relationships with key partners to achieve deep alignment in sales, marketing and technical areas.
- Analyse market trends and provide useful insights/innovative solutions to the management team and CEO, for the purpose of shaping the company’s strategic moves.
- Responsible for managing spending for all aspects of the assigned projects (Completed or under development) and attain the expected profitability targets.
- Proactively cooperate with the internal business units to ensure the elements necessary to the success of the game production and release (Localization, Q&A etc) are in place.
- Responsible for documenting the work flow and procedures required of the steps necessary to the production, release and marketing cycle of the acquired game.
- Conduct training to peers to facilitate their understanding of the game development, release and marketing process.
**Requirements**:
- Passion for gaming
- At least 3 years of game publication work experience
- Enthusiastic, highly driven and handles pressure well; has a mature mentality with a strong sense of responsibility
- Good knowledge of gaming industry
- Strong project management experience and ability to work with and manage cross functional units to advance business objectives.
- Good financial modeling and P&L management capabilities.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-pace environment and prioritize work to meet specific deadlines required.
- Must be self-motivated and results oriented.
- Innate understanding of what makes gaming communities thrive
- Ability to translate player insight, game data into game requirements for the dev team
- Strong planning and organizational skills; ability to juggle and manage multiple priorities under tight project deadlines required
