**Project Manager / Director**

As a Project Manager/Director, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the success of our leading industry trade exhibitions across the Asian region.

**The position**

We are seeking a talented and experienced Project Manager/Director to lead and execute the planning, development, and execution of our industry exhibitions. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the seamless coordination of all aspects of event planning, implementation, and post-event analysis.

**Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to conceptualise and develop innovative ideas, shaping the strategic vision for each exhibition that aligns with market trends and stakeholder expectations.
- Lead the project planning process, including defining scope, budget, and resource allocation
- Oversee the execution of exhibition logistics, including venue selection, floor plan design, booth allocation, and on-site arrangements
- Manage relationships with exhibitors, sponsors, and partners to ensure their needs are met and exceeded
- Develop and implement marketing and promotional strategies to attract exhibitors, attendees, and industry stakeholders
- Monitor project timelines, milestones, and budgetary goals, and take proactive measures to ensure their successful completion.
- Coordinate with external vendors, contractors, and suppliers to ensure the smooth execution of exhibition services.
- Facilitate on-site management and troubleshooting during the event, ensuring the highest level of attendee experience.
- Analyze post-event data and feedback to identify areas of improvement and implement changes for future events.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive events, and emerging technologies to drive innovation and growth.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Event Management, Marketing, or related field
- Proven experience (X+ years) in project management, preferably within the events or exhibitions industry
- Strong organisational, multitasking, and time-management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a customer-focused approach
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- A proactive problem solver with attention to detail and strong analytical skills
- Flexibility and adaptability to manage unexpected challenges and changes
- Willingness to travel and work flexible hours during event periods
