Job Duties:

- To assist the Bar Manager in day to day running of the bar operation.
- To ensure and maintain good hygiene standards in bar work areas, cleanliness and equipment are kept clean and in good conditions.
- Responsibility for the correct use and maintenance of glassware
- Ensures all beverage stock is kept in the proper storage under the appropriate temperature.
- Prepares mise-en-place according to the requirement and operation needs.
- Setting drinks with accuracy and disciplined measurements for consistency.
- To ensure all liquor bottles/beverages are in order and check the stock in the bar to ascertain that both are correct and if there are any discrepancies, report to the Outlet Manager immediately.
- To ensure adequate supply of beverages and mise-en-place stock, put up store requisition if necessary.
- To maintain the service quality and the standards according to the Outlets policies and procedures.
- To ensure guests bottles are properly kept and secured and record the in and out of the bottles according to the procedures.
- To monitor and immediately report to the Outlet Manager for any missing or mishandling of any beverages.
- Stop service and expulsion of an intoxicated guest
- To take responsibility to complete the work to the satisfaction of the Bar Manager.

Job Requirements:

- Basic Food Hygiene Certificate
- Certificate in Bartending & Mixology or equivalent
- With experience in the relevant role is an advantage
- Thorough knowledge of food safety procedures.
- Profound knowledge of cocktails, liquors, spirits, beer and wine
- Comfortable working long shifts if required and on weekends and PHs
