**What the role is**
- You will formulate, assess and review strategies, policies and programmes to build an inclusive society of lifelong learners that harnesses digital technologies to strengthen connections, enrich lives, empower and prepare Singaporeans to thrive in a digital future.

**What you will be working on**
- Contribute to the division’s efforts to drive, coordinate and review digital readiness (including access and literacy) policies, strategies and programmes for individuals and micro-enterprises across MCI, its agencies (i.e. the Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA), the National Library Board (NLB), and the Cyber Security Agency (CSA)) and across the Whole of Government (WOG), working closely with relevant ministries and agencies.
- Contribute to WOG agenda for lifelong learning through the review and formulation of policies, strategies and programmes related to libraries, archives and learning.
- Contribute to the coordination and driving a whole-of-MCI approach and strategy for public education efforts in the areas of digital wellness, media and information literacy, so as to ensure that public education content is relevant, cohesive and effective in addressing emerging digital readiness issues. This includes planning, formulating and coordinating public communications approaches and campaigns to engage Singaporeans on being digitally ready and lifelong learners.
- Develop and maintain an extensive network of relationships across public, private and people sectors, and ensure an effective and meaningful way to engage, galvanise and bring onboard partners and volunteers to contribute to enhancing the quality, reach and impact of policies and programmes.
- Commission research studies, conduct environment scans and collaborate with academia and think tanks on studies to enhance understanding of international and local developments that impact digital readiness and lifelong learning efforts, so as to ensure currency of our efforts and ensure desired outcomes are achieved. This includes working with MCI divisions to coordinate research agenda and to propagate research outcomes across Whole of Government (WOG). This also includes actively engaging with overseas experts and organisations in information exchange to identify learning points for Singapore, and collaboration opportunities to advance our goals.
- Provide secretariat work for steering committees and structures that will drive the above.

**What we are looking for**
- Excellent writing and communication skills
- Strong ability to analyse and think critically about complex issues
- Background in any relevant discipline (e.g., social sciences, communications)
- Passionate about the promotion of digital inclusion, digital literacy, digital wellbeing and lifelong learning
- Team player with excellent interpersonal skills and good stakeholder management skills
- Work experience in public sector or social services agencies would be advantageous
