In Group T&O, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels.?
SDLC Quality Assurance (SQA) who conducts independent review against SDLC standard adherence. Ensure quality objectives are achieved in all the phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) through planning, quality reviews, mentoring, coaching and building a sustainable partnership with Project stakeholders.
Key Accountabilities
- Compliance Assurance: Ensure all software development projects adhere to SDLC governance standards and best practices, maintaining compliance with organizational and industry regulations.
- Independent Review Executions: Conduct thorough and unbiased reviews of development processes and deliverables. Providing clear and actionable feedback to ensure high quality outcomes.
- Advisory and Support: Act as the primary advisor for app teams on matters of SDLC compliance, offering guidance on how to meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Enterprise-Wide Best Practices Adoption: monitor the adoption of standardized best practices across the bank, driving the adoption of SDLC governance initiatives at an enterprise level.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Maintain strong communication and collaboration with stakeholders across the organization, ensuring alignment with quality objectives and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

**Responsibilities**:
**Independent Reviews**:

- Conduct independent reviews of software development projects to ensure compliance with SDLC governance and best practices. Provide objective assessments of project quality, risk and adherence to established standards.

**Advisory on Compliance**:
Enterprise-Wide Initiative Support
- Champion the adoption of enterprise-wide initiatives focused on SDLC best practices. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive consistent implementation of these practices, ensuring alignment with organization goals and industry standards.

**Process Improvement**:

- Identify opportunities for improvement within existing SDLC processes and lead initiative to enhance quality and efficiency across projects.

**Stakeholder Collaboration**:

- Engage with various stake holders across the bank, providing insights and recommendations to ensure alignment with best practices and quality standards,

**Requirements**:

- 5-10 year experience of software experience with an IT company, preferably Banking domain
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools and processes. Familiarity with automated testing tools is a plus.
- Excellence verbal and written communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate technical concept to non-technical stakeholders. Strong interpersonal skills, enabling effective interaction with various stakeholders, including delivering presentations with clarity and impact.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to identify issues early in the SDLC and develop effective solutions to mitigate them.
- Experience working in agile development environment.
- Familiarity with Software Quality Assessment / Software Security Audit against requirements of financial regulatory bodies such as MAS, RBI, HKMA etc.
- Working experience with DevOps practices and tools.
