Job Summary- We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to join our regional distribution team, where you’ll be responsible for managing all aspects of engagement with strategic customers, developing and managing the long-term profitability of these relationships, and being the voice of key customers for the leadership team.- This role will be a critical link between our Regional Partners, the in-Country teams, and our business stakeholders. You will have an intimate understanding of the full digital eco-system of the partner now and future plans, highlighting key areas of collaboration & transformation, conducting regular, quantitated assessments of the markets and potential opportunities for partner expansion- Job Accountabilities- Launch regional partnerships with leading target partners that will ‘move the needle’ on consumer insurance distribution for Zurich in all markets they operate.
- Work with local teams to drive new partner acquisition with specific target partners identified as strategic critical for the growth of Zurich regionally.
- Work closely with the in-market teams and regional teams for key Partnerships, to understand the key business requirements and ensure these are incorporated into the design and delivery of solutions to market.
- Develop and grow a multi-layer team that manages Zurich’s most critical partnerships, including at a senior executive level, with a focus on driving execution of joint initiatives and helping to launch/manage new offerings to benefit partners and their customers.
- Design and implement a client-centric approach for partnerships with a commercial and digital lens
- Driving execution of strategic initiatives & ideas that will grow the business and avail measurable results
- Job Qualifications- Extensive partnerships/business development experience.
- Broad and deep experience developing and executing partnership strategies to build innovative product experiences and go to market models.
- Experience negotiating commercial deals with top financial institutions and Digital ecosystems, including scaling such deals across multiple partners.
- Strong executive presence, with the proven ability to influence senior leaders internally and externally, including at the C-level.
- An operationally focused mindset, with an ability to lead teams through complex relationship management activities by setting a clear vision, and running tight processes.
- Deep experience in at-least one of the following key markets in APAC: Singapore, India, Japan, Australia, Indonesia, Hong Kong, Malaysia.
- Deep network of existing C-level relationships across target verticals and other players in the fintech ecosystem in APAC.
- Proven success within e-commerce setting
- Proven success in value creation through partnerships
- Required Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent)
- Functional/Technical Skills- Account Management - Proficiency Level Expert
- Knowledge of Product Line - Proficiency Level Expert
- Knowledge of Sales Channels - Proficiency Level Expert
- Understanding Customer Needs - Proficiency Level Expert
