Veterans Clarification from the agency Duties This position is located under the Office of Public and Governmental Affairs, Digital Media Division, Web Media Branch in Anywhere in the U.S. (remote job). The primary purpose of this position is to serve as Communications Specialist supporting the development of methods, strategies and communication and marketing plans for ATF programs. As a Communications Specialist, GS-1001-12, your typical work assignments may include: Conducting and managing audience research and program evaluation activities for communications and marketing; Providing guidance and expertise for developing, testing and disseminating technical and audience-based products, tools and messages; Developing, implementing, and managing communication and marketing programs, projects or initiatives for various audiences; Establishing and maintaining internal and external partnerships to plan, implement and evaluate communication and marketing campaigns and activities. **Requirements**: Conditions of Employment The time-in-grade requirement must be met by the closing date of this announcement. May be required to serve a one year probationary period. **Qualifications**: **Additional Conditions of Employment**: GS-12 - You qualify if you possess one year of specialized experience, equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal, State, or Local government or equivalent public or private sector experience, performing the following duties: Writing, editing, proofreading and publishing materials and information for internal and external audiences using the appropriate written and oral presentation formats, techniques and content management systems; and Using qualitative and quantitative research methods to analyze user behavior and content performance, including web and search analytics, feedback forms and user interviews; and Substitution of education in lieu of specialized experience may not be used for this grade level.
