**Role Overview**:
We are searching for a dynamic and experienced Engineering Manager for our Product Mechanical Design team. This role is pivotal in driving the mechanical and automation development of our precision photonics device testing and assembly machinery, equipment, and automation systems. As the Engineering Manager, you will lead a dedicated team, oversee projects, and play a key role in achieving operational excellence. Your expertise in mechanical engineering, team leadership, and project management will be instrumental in our continued success.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Technical Leadership**:

- Lead and actively contribute to the mechanical and automation development of machinery, equipment, and automation systems.
- Supervise the mechanical and process teams, providing guidance in managing the entire development life cycle from development, budgeting, deployment, and execution of projects.
- Offer mentorship, problem-solving, and effective delegation to subordinates.
- Establish and implement engineering best practices, processes, and procedures to enhance team performance.

**Project Management**:

- Understand the design requirements and effectively communicate them to the team.
- Ensure successful system, product, and project development by coordinating validation efforts.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration and project success.
- Provide technical support and guidance to project leads and stakeholders.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor or Master Degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
- Over 5 years of relevant experience in system development (test automation/machine automation) and team management.
- Proficiency in Design for Manufacturing (DFM) for product (automation) manufacturing, assembly, and testing processes.
- Skilled in design tools such as CAD and FMEA.
- More than 3 years of team or department management experience.
- Strong mentorship skills and an aptitude for collaboration with stakeholders.
- Effective communication skills, enabling interaction across all organizational levels and with customers.
- A dedicated team player committed to achieving both company and departmental goals.
- Outstanding leadership qualities complemented by excellent interpersonal skills. Willingness and ability to travel as needed.
