**About the role**

Seeking a dedicated Quantity Surveyor to join our team. This full-time position is crucial in overseeing the financial and contractual aspects of construction infrastructure projects, ensuring their successful delivery. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a pivotal role in managing costs, negotiating contracts, and providing strategic insights to support the company's growth and project objectives.

**What you'll be doing**
- Prepare and analyze cost estimates, budgets, and financial reports for construction projects.
- Negotiate and manage contracts with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders
- Measure and value work completed, and process payments to contractors. Conduct site visits to monitor progress and verify quantities of work completed.
- Prepare and submit final accounts for completed projects, ensuring all costs are reconciled.
- Identify and mitigate financial risks associated with construction projects
- Provide advice and recommendations to project managers and senior leadership on cost-saving measures and project efficiencies
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the successful delivery of construction projects
- Assist in the preparation of tender documents, including bill of quantities (BQ), specifications, and contract conditions.

**What we're looking for**
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry
- Proficient in cost estimation, contract management, and project accounting
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve complex financial and contractual issues
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills to effectively liaise with clients, contractors, and stakeholders
- Familiarity with construction industry regulations, standards, and best practices
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet project deadlines and objectives
