**Key Responsibilities**:

- ** Sample Collection & Preparation**: Skillfully collect and prepare biological samples for testing.
- ** Laboratory Testing**: Conduct a wide range of tests on blood, urine, and other body fluids using both manual and automated techniques.
- ** Result Analysis**: Analyze test results with precision and report findings to medical staff promptly.
- ** Equipment Management**: Operate, calibrate, and maintain sophisticated laboratory equipment.
- ** Quality Control**: Perform quality control checks and troubleshoot any issues to ensure reliable test results.
- ** Compliance & Safety**: Adhere to established protocols and safety guidelines to maintain a safe laboratory environment.
- ** Documentation**: Accurately document all test procedures and results.
- ** Collaboration**: Work closely with healthcare professionals to interpret test results and select appropriate tests.
- ** Continuous Learning**: Stay updated with the latest advancements in laboratory testing and medical technology.

**Qualifications**:

- ** Educational Background**: Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or a related field.
- ** Certification**: Certification as a Medical Technologist (ASCP or equivalent) is highly desirable.
- ** Experience**: Minimum of 3 years of solid experience in a regulated clinical laboratory setting.
- ** Technical Skills**: Proficient in using laboratory equipment and performing assigned testing procedures (Anatomic Pathology - FISH, Microtomy, tissue examination, H&E staining, etc).
- ** Attention to Detail**: Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- ** Team Player**: Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- ** Communication Skills**: Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
