**CANDIDATE PROFILE**
- University or Hotel School undergraduates specializing and studying in hospitality related fields will be preferred for certain internship positions.
- For more specialist disciplines, for example those students pursuing business or similar related courses, consideration is also given for those related internship opportunities.

**PREFERRED SKILLS + ATTRIBUTES**
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills, working knowledge of complex data analysis and financial modeling.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Power Apps - Power BI, Power Query, Power Automate.
- Ability to organize and interpret complex, detailed financial information and present analytical results.
- Ability to work in group settings and/or independently.
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task several projects.
- Demonstrates problem solving skills.
- Demonstrates creativity and innovation.

**RESPONSIBILITIES + REQUIREMENTS**

As an intern of the APEC finance team, the Intern will assist in providing financial analysis and process review documentation that enables APEC leadership to make business decisions that drive overall business results and create the most shareholder value. The intern will provide analytical, data gathering and any other required tasks to support to the Senior Director, Finance Operations - APEC
- Support the APEC finance team with data gathering, process documentation, financial analyses, presentation preparation, and follow up on various matters to ensure overall department due dates are met.
- Support ad hoc requests involving operational analysis.
- Support project management efforts involving APEC Finance projects.
