Camtech Laboratory is a Ministry of Health approved private clinical lab based in central Singapore.

**Job description**
- Oversee and manage a Ministry of Health (MOH) licensed molecular diagnostics laboratory.
- Ensure that the laboratory is compliant to relevant MOH requirements and subscribed accreditation standards (i.e., CAP).
- Oversee day-to-day operations and ensure all test procedures are carried out in accordance to requirements and protocols.
- Oversee validation and monitoring of test procedures and protocols to achieve required precision and accuracy.
- Ensure the reception and rejection of laboratory specimens are in accordance to protocol.
- Perform, record and interpret results of quality control procedures and take corrective action where necessary.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
- Review laboratory protocols, maintaining laboratory standard operating procedures (SOP) and risk assessment (RA) documentations.
- Ensure all equipment in the laboratory setting meet safety and performance standards.
- Manage, train and supervise clinical laboratory staff.
- Ensure facility upkeep of the laboratory premise, to provide a safe and organized environment for all laboratory personnel.
- Oversee, coordinate and supervise clinical and research projects with partnering organizations and institutes.

**Job Requirements**
- Degree in Molecular Biotechnology, Biomedical Science or related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a clinical laboratory setting.
- Good laboratory and strong analytical skills.
- Meticulous and well-organized.
- Highly motivated and willing to learn.
- Able to work independently and complete assigned tasks in a timely manner.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
