**About the role**
As a Technical Solution Architect at MindSphere Industry Solutions, you will engage with industrial customers, our sales force and the product teams to define and develop leading industrial IoT solutions which make a real impact. You will be responsible for working with solution architects and developers, our product teams and our (pre)-sales colleagues to define the architecture of sellable IoT solutions.

The team is based in Europe but this role can be based remotely in - EMEA, India, US

**Area of responsibility**:

- Work with industry experts, (pre)-sales and customers to understand where and how industrial IoT can create value in manufacturing
- Define the scope, architecture and commercial model for new IoT solutions built with Mendix and MindSphere
- Support solution development teams in making the right technical decisions in the implementation of solutions
- Support incubation projects for new solutions with customers
- Advise the product teams on improvement potential and need for the existing platform capabilities

**Your qualifications**:

- Degree in STEM field (science, technology, engineering or mathematics)
- Between 5-10 years of work experience with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in definition, architecture and development of solutions for the digitization of manufacturing operations
- Hands-on experience in manufacturing operations e.g. in the automotive, industrial machinery or similar industries with an excellent understanding of the challenges in modern manufacturing operations and how the industrial internet of things in combination with analytics and machine learning can solve them
Experience with Agile methodologies, specifically Scrum
- Experience with MindSphere is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and an ability to help colleagues and customers find the right solution (not the obvious/easy one)
- Must be able to function independently in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
- Comfortable presenting in front of executives and customers
