Resident Technical Officer (C&S and Arch)

Your primary roles and responsibilities are:

- To supervise the execution of the construction works and ensure the works are carried out by the contractors in accordance with contract specifications and drawings, complying with quality and standards. Assist on site to ensure that all works comply fully with regulatory and client's requirements.
- To assist the Resident Engineer in supervision and inspection of construction works on site.
- Report to RE, QP and Consultants; work closely with the regulatory authorities and contractors to provide supervision on site, resolve all site issues and ensure timely completion of the project.
- To supervise the quality of Architectural trades, materials, finishes and workmanship in accordance with the Contract, and shall exercise all reasonable skill, care and diligence in the discharge of the Contract.
- Responsible for implementing and sustaining the site supervision quality & safety assurance system.
- Carry out supervision of structural & geotechnical works by identifying any non-conformity of contractor's works on site.
- Understand drawings & contract documents in carrying out the works.
- Carry out regular site checks on contractor & ensure compliance with health and work safety in accordance with MOM regulation.
- To ensure timely submission of shop drawings, technical submittals and material samples by the contractors.
- Ensure that proper site documentation for ongoing works, site meetings, safety records, method statements, shop drawings, as built submissions etc., are well managed.

**Requirements**:

- Diploma in C&S Engineering from an institute accredited by the Professional Engineers Board, Singapore.
- Must be accredited as a Resident Technical Officer with BCA/IES/ACES.
- Past working experiences in healthcare/residential/institutional building projects is preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant full-time site supervision experience of C&S works as an RTO in building construction sites in Singapore.
- Have experience in supervision of Architectural works as an RTO in building projects in Singapore.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel for project update and reports.
- Supervision experience in precast building projects, and long-span steel structures would be an advantage.
- A good team player and experience in assisting Resident Engineers in supervision of works.
- Conversant with construction practices, codes & regulations.
