Director, Logistics and Customer Care

Job Description
What you will do
- Manage all distribution centers/warehousing in Asia-Pacific region including metrics, spend management and supplier relationships
- Drive improved and reliable on-time delivery of finished goods, spare parts to distributors and end-customers
- As a member of our global logistics leadership team, you will be an active participant and decision maker in shaping and evolving our strategy and global network optimization efforts
- Lead all regional trade compliance activities ensuring adherence to all import/export regulations enabling smoother, compliant trade
- Identify, enable and support cost optimization efforts
- Lead all customer interaction center activities from pre-sales to post-sales stages of the selling lifecycle (i.e., billing, returns, expedites, etc.) ensuring a consistent and simplified customer experience
Basic qualifications
- Bachelor degree on Engineering, Business & Administration or Letters & Sciences - MBA is appreciated
- At least 10 years of experience in supply chain management and 12 years of leadership experience
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of end-to-end integrated supply chain, with experience leading across two or more supply chain functional areas

- Strong ability to build a collaborative, diverse and inclusive culture resulting in improved employee engagement
- Successful in leading in a global, matrixed organization structure across cross-functional lines
- Demonstrated expertise leading within a complex global supply chain organization and ability to provide both technical and managerial leadership to the organization
- Proven experience driving aggressive strategic and operational business outcomes through strong execution, with an emphasis on progress over perfection
- Experience attracting, developing and retaining high performing teams
- Articulate, persuasive, and persistent to drive change and overcome normal organizational resistance while providing hands-on leadership to the organization
- Networks across the organization and develops successful internal and external relationships.
- Instills a sense of urgency and drives problems towards resolution. Monitors the progress of others and redirects efforts
- Demonstrated ability to present and communicate to all levels of an organization including executive leadership both internally and externally
