Acted as focal point in between Clients and Shipyard for commercial related matters.
- Prepared estimated figures for quotations to clients according to owner scope of work lists.
- Performed daily recording of work done onboard vessel and during docking.
- Worked closely with Ship Repair Superintendent / Manager on job scopes and variation orders.
- Liaised with all trade supervisors with Work Done reports for billing purposes.
- Updated and maintained up to date project budgetary cost to Clients.
- Drafted invoices with all input given and submit to clients.
- Involved in invoices settlements / negotiations with Clients as and when required.
- Attended and reviewed to enquiries sent from Sales team / Clients.
- Performed cost estimation and be responsible for the compilation and submission of tender proposals, as well as submission of Pre-Qualification questionnaires (PQQ's).
- Progressively maintained and updated sales trackers on sharepoint, monthly commercial report for management review.
- Prepared Works Orders on ERP system, as well as Change Orders and Variation Orders as and when required.
- Progressively maintained and updated sales trackers, monthly & quarterly commercial report for management review.
- Developed and established clients in assigned segment.
- Preparing material estimates and cost estimates for the product or service
- Creating labor estimates for any project
- Thoroughly reviews all customer specifications, drawings and technical data.
- Produces labor, material and subcontractor price estimates for all required work.
- Prepares estimates for Change Orders on new and existing projects.
- Compares subcontractor to in-house costs in order to make outsourcing decisions.
- Works with Production Managers to develop repair or new-build production plans.
- Knowledge and experience in marine projects, Yard, and Voyage job.
- Handle day-to-day operations (ordering, reviewing, and accepting material deliveries).
- Experience in mechanical and electrical procurement.
- Basic knowledge of electrical cables and consumables.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office.
- Hands-on experience in piping and steel QC document preparation.
- Preferably have experience in buying basic tools and machinery to carry out the installation of equipment on board.
- Handle vendor for timely delivery of the requested supplies.
- Good in the documentation for handling port and ship agents' formalities.
- Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience required.
