**Summary**:
The Senior Network Engineer will design, implement, and manage secure network infrastructure with a focus on Cisco Firepower solutions (FMC and FTD). This role ensures network performance, security compliance, and successful project delivery while working closely with cross-functional teams to meet technical requirements and project timelines.

**Responsibilities**:

- Design and deploy Cisco Firepower solutions (FMC and FTD) for network infrastructure projects.
- Integrate Cisco Firepower with broader network architecture, ensuring secure communication and compliance with security protocols.
- Troubleshoot, optimize, and manage Cisco Firepower devices, focusing on FTD and FMC performance.
- Collaborate with project managers, clients, and teams to meet project deliverables and milestones.
- Provide detailed documentation for network designs, configurations, change management, and troubleshooting.
- Monitor and optimize Cisco Firepower infrastructure for performance, security, and redundancy.
- Mentor junior engineers and foster continuous learning within the team.
- Align all network solutions with industry security standards and regulatory requirements.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in network engineering with a focus on Cisco Firepower solutions (FMC and FTD).
- Expertise in designing, deploying, and managing Cisco Firepower Threat Defense (FTD) and Firepower Management Center (FMC).
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, routing, switching, VPNs, and network security best practices.
- Hands-on experience in optimizing network performance and troubleshooting.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in fast-paced environments.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to explain technical concepts effectively.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Cisco certifications such as CCNP Security, CCIE Security, or equivalent are highly preferred.
- Experience in industries with mission-critical infrastructures (e.g., transportation, manufacturing, life sciences) is a plus.
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks like ISO 27001, NIST, and GDPR is advantageous.
