**Job Description**:
**Role Purpose**

As part of the Asia Gas and LNG Markets team, you will deliver world-class research, data, and insight covering Southeast Asian gas & LNG market fundamentals, prices, contracts, investment trends, policies and corporate insights. Your coverage will range from current market and regulatory events through to the role of gas and gas assets in the energy transition. As this role leads our Southeast Asia gas coverage, you will have high levels of engagement with clients and the broader industry.

**Main Responsibilities**
- Provide analytical insights about gas pricing and contracting trends in Southeast Asia
- Drive our fundamental-based views of Southeast Asian gas supply, demand, trade and balances
- Lead creation of new written and data-driven research and topical insights
- Build and maintain contacts with key players in the industry; develop research and commercial relationships
- Engage regularly with clients, including senior executives
- Coach and mentor less-experienced team members, fostering an open, innovative, and dynamic team environment
- Drive continuous improvement and efficiency in data and analytical processes
- Work with colleagues in Sales and Consulting teams to drive business opportunities

**Qualifications**:
**About You**
- You have either worked within a data, analytics, or consulting business, or have been directly involved in a commercial gas-related role with an industry participant. You have deep industry knowledge and enthusiasm for analysis.
- You are passionate about what you do, and the quality of your work makes you credible with clients and able to engage at the senior level. You enjoy the development and implementation of modelling and integrated scenario problem-solving. You are energised by asking questions and thinking creatively.
- Your commercial acumen enables you to play a key role in defining our aspiration for our Southeast Asian gas and LNG research. Given your engagement with your network of senior-level clients and contacts, you will understand their business and priorities and translate that into valuable insight and data.
- The way in which you work enables you to build effective, collaborative internal relationships and can influence across a matrix organization. You understand that diversity of experience and thought makes a difference and inclusion require cultural appreciation.
