**POSITION PURPOSE**

In this 6 months internship/contractual role the Content and SEO intern will craft content that drives engagement on social and web platforms. Under the direction of the Regional Content Lead, this involves creating original and relevant pieces that will help fulfil a range of business objectives, market briefs and goals. From being adept at SEO-optimised articles to nifty social captions, you are expected to produce copies that are in line with IDP’s editorial and creative standards.
**KEY ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Create, ideate and localise content that can not only solve market needs but also ensure alignment with brand tone of voice and regional content strategy
- Drive SEO in content creation and produce optimised copies via SEO best practices
- Research and develop topic ideas that are viable for use by teams across the marketing spectrum
- As part of a regional set-up, to manage multiple briefs and see them through to completion, collaborating with both in-house and offshore colleagues
- Work actively with the creative team to ensure assets are well-designed and well-suited to relevant copies - keeping in mind the need to engage, entertain and educate

**WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR**
- Must be currently enrolled in or hold a Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in English, Journalism, Communications or Marketing-related fields
- Communicate effectively and clearly in English, both orally and in writing
- A good grasp of what it means to write and create a range of content types
- Team player and able to work under pressure and tight deadlines
- Meticulous and attention to detail
- Excited and passionate about content creation
- Open to feedback and hungry to keep driving and striving
