My client in property and assets management is looking for Junior Accountant to join their team.

**Challenges**:

- Responsible for the accurate and timely closing of a portfolio of accounts monthly, comprising the AP, AR and General Ledger function and including the preparation of audit schedules
- Coordinate and liaise with internal stakeholders for the issuance of invoices to related companies
- Preparation of remittances/cheques for payments of expenses and staff claims
- Processing of staff claims
- Preparation of GST returns and income tax returns
- Support the annual Group budgeting exercise
- Coordinate and liaise with external parties like external auditors, tax agents and corporate secretarial agents where required
- Assist in new processes and system implementation when required

**What it Takes**:

- At least “A” level or Diploma holder
- At least 3 years of relevant experience and able to handle full set of accounts
- Possess good interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
- A self-starter with a positive mindset who is able to plan, organise and take initiative to meet job objectives and deadlines independently
- Meticulous, analytical and independent worker
- Prior experience in SAP preferred but not pre-requisite
