Senior Manager

**Responsibilities**:

- Partnering with Business and represent region within IT (Leadership) Team
- Go to team for any new initiative with IT involvement as well as for any issues, incidents or escalations
- Bring both global IT strategies to regional/functional business teams as well as addressing regional demand within global IT Delivery & Technology teams
- Manage the matrix organization, align regional/functional strategies/initiatives/priorities with global Delivery/Infrastructure
- Communication to regional business/functional teams
- Manage project portfolio globally, regionally, locally
- Identifying, defining, prioritizing regional & global priorities
- Ensure alignment with global strategies
- Manage funding & approval process as well as communication to all relevant stakeholders
- Actively manage changes/additions throughout the year
- Communication of project portfolio status update (monthly&quarterly) to CEO staff plus cascading both regionally as well as within IT
- Lead major initiatives (current examples GBOII), act as the 'glue' to bind team & key stakeholders from IT & Business functions when supporting transformational opportunities / initiatives
- Understand global agenda's and driving alignment on solutions that are appropriate for the business and technology strategies
- Develop and maintain credibility and effective working relations globally with customers, business colleagues and IT personnel in a way that demonstrates an understanding of business problems, as well as IT strategies, issues, and priorities
- Develop actionable strategies to solve business problems or seize new opportunities, acting as a visionary to proactively assist in defining future projects
- Interface with the business to develop a creative, pragmatic and cost-effective approach to processes systems needed to support strategic objectives
- ACT as the 'glue' to bind team & key stakeholders from IT & Business functions when supporting transformational opportunities / initiatives
- Facilitates the development and refinement of standard global business processes systems across the enterprise
- Influence and drive alignment across the business around topics related to a vision of global IT architecture and platform direction
- Create a clear line of sight for IT delivery organization to execute & ensure IT execution plans continue to be aligned to desired business outcomes
- Support and drive project delivery within the business as required. Projects will be varied and wide ranging encompassing all areas of the business.
- Project planning, tracking and reporting.
- Mobilise the project team and the business to ensure both are focused and supportive of delivering effective change.
- Provide ongoing constructive challenge to shape and influence best project outcomes.

**Knowledge, Skills and Experience**:

- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Seven years of progressively responsible Business - IT experience, including three years of supervisory experience in assigned area of responsibility.
- Possesses and applies a comprehensive knowledge of: Management principles, Project management principles, a dvanced theories and principles in assigned area of responsibility, Technological trends.
- Evaluating technological trends for applicability.
- Developing and implementing work plans.
- Analyzing data and information and making related recommendations.
- Communicating technical information to a non-technical audience. Communication, interpersonal skills as applied to interaction with coworkers, supervisor,
